Terex Utilities' new factory is part of Terex AWP and includes assembly, fiberglass, paint and installation. "By combining 10 plants into one, Terex Utilities has improved internal communication and improved production efficiency, thus shortening product delivery times and better serving our customers," said Clint Weber, vice president and general manager of Terex Utilities.

The first batch of equipment to be offline include the C6060 excavator derrick from Otter Tail Power Company, Minnesota, HR46 aerial operation equipment from Xcel Energy, Minnesota, LT40 aerial operation equipment from NiSource, Indiana, and the General 65 excavator derrick from Brazos Electric Cooperative, Texas.

"Our manufacturing process is able to deliver high-quality products because we utilize a stable and strong U.S. supply chain, welded by certified team members, powder coating before assembly, and fiberglass procedures wrapped with rectangular biaxial epoxy wire. Before delivery, the assembled equipment is tested 100% running," said Weber. "We are able to quickly manufacture high-quality utility equipment to meet the special needs of our customers."
